Merton is a theoretical physicist. He is interested in quantum gravity, which is a theory of gravity that obeys the rules of quantum mechanics, but he is most interested in the properties of black holes. He recently wrote a paper for the International Journal of Theoretical Physics entitled “If you throw matter into a black hole, what happens to the information that is encoded in that matter?” He also likes to DJ on the weekends.
