Gertrude does not like to be referred to as ‘Gertie’. She is old school. After 35 years of volunteering at a non-profit she finally decided to retire early last year. She’s learning harmonica and slide guitar and hopes to form a blues band in the near future. She recently bought an electric bike and likes to zip around town in the late afternoon.
